Pragmatic Play has expanded its slot portfolio with the release of Fury of Anubis, a new Ancient Egypt-themed title that combines tumbling reels, increasing multipliers and a potential maximum payout of 10,000 times the stake.
The game places players in a stylized vision of the Egyptian underworld, where Anubis, a god associated with guiding souls to the afterlife, serves as the central figure. This release continues the supplier’s long-term use of mythology-inspired themes while introducing adjustments to a familiar gameplay format centered on cascading wins and increasing multipliers.
Gameplay Centers on Falling Wins and Growing Multipliers
Fury of Anubis plays box measuring 6×5 and use a distributed payment system rather than traditional paylines. A winning combination occurs when eight or more matching symbols appear anywhere on the reels. Once a win is formed, matching symbols disappear and new symbols appear in their place, potentially creating additional winning combinations through successive tumbles.
The main feature of this slot is its multiplier system. During the base game, each successful tumble doubles the active multiplier. Starting from 1x, the value can increase to 2x, 4x, 8x, and so on, until it reaches 1,024x. The multiplier remains active throughout the series of falls before returning to its initial value when the spin ends.
The title features gemstone symbols as lower paying icons, while reels, ankhs, skulls and scarabs are premium paying symbols. According to the game’s payout structure, a combination of 12 or more premium symbols can award prizes of up to 100 times the stake.

Free Spins Feature Includes Risk and Reward Options
The bonus round is active when players land between three and six scatter symbols. Triggering this feature awards 10 free spins and awards an initial multiplier determined by the number of scatters collected. Three scatters start the round with a multiplier of 8x, while six scatters provide a starting value of 64x.
Before the free spins begin, players can choose whether to accept the multiplier awarded or bet for a larger multiplier. A successful bet doubles the initial value and can push it up to 256x. Failed attempts result in the loss of the free spins feature.
During free spins, the multiplier continues to increase with each win that falls, just as it does in the base game.
